This Thesis, "Eighty-Two Familiar Situations Across the Hesbignon Territory", aims to explore the capacity of the photographic tool to be a means of exploration and analysis of a territory. Before presenting the photographic work as such, the first part of the thesis (Volume 1) deals with the theoretical and technical framework of landscape photography and the exploration of the territory. The analysis of the Hesbaye through photography constitutes the practical and experimental work of this thesis (Volume 2). Through the pictures taken, an imaginary cartography is proposed to the reader. It is through the accumulation of unique situations that this description takes shape, offering an overview of the territory. The characteristics thus identified are grouped by theme. The analysis and survey of the identified situations allow problems related to the use and development of the territory to emerge.
